There are different options for deletion of facts on platforms of FCS. These options can be ordered hierarchically:

A shortcut is a link which points to a fact.
If you delete a shortcut, the original fact will
be maintained in the
service filings. The
original fact can still be found via Factlist & Search.

Hidden facts are not displayed on the
platform.
However, they still exist on the server. Read more
on how to
access hidden facts (see Display hidden facts).

Deleted facts or folders cannot be restored.

The “hide/delete” option is only visible to you if you have permission to delete and/or hide the fact you are viewing.
