For easier formatting of your texts, you can switch to the facttext-editor-mode. Functions similar to Word
are available with the facttext-editor. Please note, that only very simple tables can be created
with the facttext-editor.
In case you have problems to start the facttext-editor, please read the Technical
Requirements.
Switching to facttext
You have already clicked on the "add
" link and have seen the input mask. Click now on the button
 below the text (description) field. Please be patient, as your browser will need
some time to load the editor.
You can now begin to enter your text into the facttext-editor-window. In order to format, select the
desired text and click on the appropriate button. As soon as your text entry and formatting is completed, click next>>.
 Including factlink:
Positionieren Sie Ihren Cursor an die gewünschte Stelle. Klicken Sie auf den Button. Geben Sie die infoID oder ein Stichwort des facts ein, auf den Sie verlinken möchten. Klicken Sie in der Ergebnisliste auf den gewünschten fact. Es erscheint "[factlink]" an der enstprechenden Stelle. In der fertigen Textanzeige, wird hier automatisch der Titel des facts eingefügt.
 Including images:
Positionieren Sie Ihren Cursor an die gewünschte Stelle. Klicken Sie auf den Button. Filtern Sie die Bilderliste mit Buchstaben aus dem Bildtitel. Wählen Sie das gewünschte Bild per Klick aus.
 Including external links:
Tippen Sie einen Linknamen ein. Markieren Sie den Namen. Klicken Sie auf den Button. Geben Sie die URL
der Website auf die Sie verlinken möchten ein.
 Deleting links:
Positionieren Sie Ihren Cursor im verlinkten Wort. Klicken Sie auf den Button. Der Link ist entfernt.
Wenn Sie ein verlinktes Wort mit der "Entf" Taste löschen, wird der
dahinterstehende Link-Code nicht vollständig gelöscht. Dies kann zu unerwünschte Komplikationen im Text
führen
 Creating tables:
As the first step, select create table from the table menu. A pop-up window will open and you will be
asked how many columns your table should have. The first row of the table will be created. Subsequently,
one can supplement the table with further data, e.g., the number of rows. In addition you can position
your cursor in the table and select the appropriate function from the table menu. Pasting pictures and links is not possible!
Converting between HTML-mode and facttext-editor-modeChanging between the two modes is possible, however you must note that during conversion, much of the formatting is lost.
